IT'S SAFE!

The installation is carried out to the guid-line laid out in A.S. 1425, which is one of the strictest fitting codes in the world.

  • The tank is made of 3mm thick carbon steel, not a thin sheet metal or plastic petrol tank.
  • The filler is connected via a flexible hose with non-return valves at each end, ensuring only a minimal loss of fuel if it's ever ruptured.
  • The system is fitted with a "safety switch" that will shut off the LPG flow if the ignition is left on with out the engine running.
  • Pure LPG has no smell, so odour is added to alert people when there is a leak. it is so strong that the average person will smell it at a fifth of the strength required for ignition.

NOTE:

There is substantial practical evidence to confirm that LP Gas fuelled vehicles are as safe, if not safer than petrol fuelled vehicles.
